Good morning!  Still seeing a cluster of storms in east-central Iowa this morning, tracking southeast.  Today will be pretty good for most areas.  A front dropping southward will spark a few additional storms this afternoon across southeast Iowa (where storm chances are greatest).  Other-wise, many locations trend mainly dry. 

Thursday looks pretty good as well, with isolated showers south of I-80.  Other-wise, the forecast has trended a lot drier late week.  A front will work into Nebraska Saturday bringing a band of slow-moving showers and storms.  Much of Iowa will remain dry Saturday, with showers south of I-80.   This front will shift east into Iowa Sunday bringing scattered rain risks.  This front brings much cooler air as we head through next week.  Based on trends, Iowa will run a good bit drier than normal over the next 7 days!  Quite the change!  Parts of Nebraska will still skew a bit wetter thanks to that Saturday front, but not excessively so.  Here are the latest 7 day precipitation totals:
