6-3-19 Ohio: Pleasant start to week becomes more unsettled mid week-next weekend. N.

Video:

The state will enjoy dry weather through tomorrow.  Next threat of showers and storms comes through Tuesday night, with the heaviest activity in the western counties.  A few severe storms possible, but it appears best instability gradient sets up just west of here.

All eyes toward next weekend as a slow cut-off low pressure moves toward the area, and a tropical disturbance merges with it in Texas.  We’ll have a lingering boundary over the area late week, but it appears many areas can manage to stay drier Thursday and Friday, with the best rain threat southwest.  However this system will ((slowly)) work into and through the area this weekend.  We feel precipitation could trend heavier in the circled area southwest.  We will monitor the trends closely this week.
