After this wave pushes east Thursday morning, I still favor a good deal of dry time with some hit and miss activity redeveloping in the afternoon, especially west. Thursday night, storms will increase again with another round for South Dakota especially, with less for North Dakota this go around. The front helping to guide these disturbances will drop further south Friday-Saturday. Another round can clip South Dakota Friday night, but the trend will be for less storm coverage this weekend. Be sure to check out the video at the top for more details. Forecast rainfall over the next 7 days (likely underdone in portions of South Dakota given the rounds of storms through late week).
