Forecast radar 11am to 9pm CT shows the weakening band of showers in western Iowa this morning, followed by storm development this afternoon across portions of southern and eastern Missouri into southeast Iowa.  Most of this fades away by 9pm.  

Overnight – another complex of storms over parts of South Dakota will work east with scattered showers and storms developing over west-central and northern Iowa, with heavier storms across southern Minnesota.  During the afternoon and evening Thursday, best chances for a few storms will be across eastern and Northeast Iowa.  Most of Missouri is dry Thursday aside from parts of southeast Missouri where additional isolated storms develop.
