Widely scattered rain chances today, with highest chances for the eastern and northern portions of the state today. Certainly not a washout, and not everyone will get rain. Most areas see light amounts under a half-inch. Not a bad day overall.

Tuesday starts sunny and nice! We’ll watch northwest areas for more unstable air and the risk of a storm cluster Tuesday evening. Including areas along I-80, but especially for the western areas of that zone from near Quincy to Moline, Galesburg, Freeport, and Rockford. Damaging wind and hail will be possible for these areas.
