6-20-19 Indiana: “Brief” break in rain tonight into Friday before a very stormy weekend! N.

Breezy and a bit cooler today with scattered showers, more numerous across north and east portions of the state.  Here is the additional rainfall forecast today: (Watch the video for details on timing/placement):

Briefly drying out tonight through mid-afternoon Friday.  Another disturbance drops into the area Friday evening, with the best storm threat across southwest Indiana Friday evening.  However, some rain can extend northeast from this into Central Indiana.  The thinking is after midnight, more widespread showers and storms develop across the state, with a stalled boundary leading to training showers and storms as we head into Saturday morning.  This boundary is with us all day Saturday.  Some locations will receive several inches of rain by Saturday afternoon.  Right now it appears for Friday night, the highest excessive rain risks is across central and southwest Indiana:
