Good Tuesday morning everyone! Scattered showers continue across South Dakota this morning while rain that produced up to 1.5″ of rain in far Eastern South Dakota and Southern Minnesota is continuing this morning: 

We’ll likely continue to see these showers in Minnesota into the afternoon, becoming more scattered in nature as we head into the mid-late afternoon: 

Rain activity will pick up in Southwestern South Dakota this evening and into tonight as a low pressure system develops and slowly pushes east: 

This has led to Flash Flood Watches being issued in Southwestern South Dakota, but heavy rain will also work into the rest of Southern South Dakota and Southwest Minnesota especially tomorrow morning and into tomorrow night: 

Rain will start to die down throughout the day on Thursday and overall Friday could be a pretty decent day for much of the area as higher pressure moves in.
