Here’s a look at the simulated radar this afternoon and into the overnight hours. Supercells can develop in the Western Dakotas and push east through the evening hours. In Western South Dakota, dry air will limit tornado threat, but large hail and 60-80 MPH gusts in storms are possible. Everyone will see a large hail threat due to high instability, but the largest hail and highest tornado threat likely occurs along the warm front before the storms congeal into a line into the Eastern Dakotas and Western Minnesota:
