Low level fog in eastern South Dakota into western Minnesota will burn off as the morning progresses. Showers currently located over eastern North Dakota into northwest Minnesota will continue to work their way east and exit the region in the early afternoon.

A piece of energy will swing into the area late this afternoon into the evening hours and spark some scattered showers for eastern North Dakota and Western Minnesota.

Building instability, lift along a cold front, and wind shear will lead to severe weather risks Thursday night into Friday morning. Numerous rain risks continue Friday night into next week.
