500 Festival Forecast – Wednesday (5/10/17):
Synopsis: Good morning, today’s discussion below is an update to what we’ve been sending out the last 2 days. We continue to favor dry time for this event and an overall nice day. No weather hazards are expected at this time. The system we discussed on Monday for potential inclement weather is speeding up, which is allowing the forecast to be nice.
Kid’s Day (Saturday): Little change to the forecast, the European model (as well as our other data) continues to show us a dry solution as we get under high pressure on Saturday.
Simulated cloud cover loop…the black indicates no cloud cover so plentiful sunshine is expected.
Winds will be out of the north/northwest turning to west-southwest later in the day at 5-10mph with gusts up to 15-20 mph possible.
Temperatures in the morning will be ~50º, warming into the mid-60s by the afternoon…it will be a pleasant day for this event.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
