5-9-19 Ohio: Targeting widely scattered showers into the PM hours…updated Mother’s Day weekend forecast. K.

Today’s Video:

**Low confidence** in today’s forecast as models are struggling with current radar and precipitation coverage….key here is that it will be hit and miss with a round of widely scattered activity pushing through especially late morning into the PM hours, with an isolated heavy/strong storm still not out of the question afternoon as well (severe weather not likely):

0.25″ to 0.75″ rainfall possible.  Isolated lower and higher totals.

Still ironing out the weekend forecast.  The overall idea Saturday-Monday is more clouds than sun, unseasonably cool temperatures, and shower chances.  Saturday, we still favor dry conditions until mid to late afternoon I-70 south, with showers picking up in coverage during the night into Sunday morning.  Perhaps a break in the action Sunday afternoon before additional scattered showers Sunday night through Monday with an upper-level low dropping in from the northwest.  Nothing heavy is expected at this time, which is good news.
