5-9-19 Indiana: Scattered coverage of rain today with low forecast confidence…tracking additional shower chances + cool temps this weekend. N.

Today’s Video:

**Low confidence** in today’s forecast as models are struggling with current radar and precipitation coverage….key word is that it will be hit and miss with a round of scattered activity moving through now, with somewhat of a lull mid-morning before another surge of scattered activity this afternoon esp. focused in SE Indiana, with scattered activity developing west and northwest as well along the actual front, which will push east this evening.  Watch the video for more info.  A gusty storm is possible mainly for southern counties, but the severe threat today is low.

0.25″ to 0.75″ rainfall possible.  Isolated lower and higher totals.

Still ironing out the weekend forecast.  The overall idea Saturday-Monday is more clouds than sun, unseasonably cool temperatures, and shower chances.  Saturday, we still favor dry conditions until mid to late afternoon, with showers picking up in coverage during the night into Sunday morning.  Perhaps a break in the action Sunday afternoon before additional scattered showers Sunday night through Monday with an upper-level low dropping in from the northwest.  Nothing heavy is expected, which is good news.
