Rain is affecting much of Minnesota this morning and Eastern North Dakota. This area of rain will push off to east throughout the day, but lingering light showers likely continue for portions of Eastern North Dakota and Northern Minnesota today:
Here’s a look at the simulated radar into Wednesday night. Note, we continue to see an active look today and tomorrow, with more storms developing especially for Southern Minnesota this afternoon into the overnight hours:

As this upper-level energy finally passes through late Wednesday, cooler air will be drawn in and much cooler temperatures are on the table to end the week. Here’s a look at temperatures over the next 4 days. Note, frost/freeze risks are possible for portions of North Dakota into Northern Minnesota.
Isolated areas of fog are possible tomorrow morning in low-lying areas in South Central North Dakota and North Central South Dakota:
A boundary will develop Thursday and linger in the area into Sunday and allow for numerous chances of precipitation Thursday into early Sunday for South Dakota and Minnesota.
