5-7-19 Round Rock Express: Daily storm chances headed into the weekend. MG.

Good Tuesday afternoon!  Here is a look at our latest 7-day outlook:

An active week of weather is in store for Round Rock headed into this weekend.  There are thunderstorm chances every day headed into the weekend with some more settled weather beginning Sunday.  Wednesday, severe storms are expected, with high winds and hail being the main threat, but an isolated tornado threat cannot be ruled out.  The Storm Prediction Center currently has the Round Rock area under an enhanced risk for severe weather tomorrow.

Storm Prediction Center Outlook for tomorrow:

This period of active weather ends on Saturday as you begin your stretch of home games.  As of now, the exact timing/ details of these storms is still unclear and we will need to fine-tune in future updates, but there is potential that these storms could exit the area before your game begins on Saturday night.

Sunday looks like it will be a great day with plenty of sunshine and slightly cooler temperatures as winds blow from the north.  Models differ on storm chances in regards to Monday.  The European model has the Round Rock area dry while the American GFS model hints at more precipitation.  We will know more as we get closer to the weekend.
