5-7-19 Indiana: Isolated rain/storm coverage today into Wednesday AM – main storm threat late Wednesday night through Thursday . N.

Today’s Video:

Good morning!  Storm chances remain isolated for most locations through Wednesday….with more widespread activity in far northwest counties especially late tonight through the morning hours Wednesday.  Total rain over the next 24 hours:

Rains should clear the northwest corner of the state by noon Wednesday, with dry and warm conditions Wednesday afternoon.  Scattered storms will roll in from the west Wednesday night.  The models are struggling with timing, but we’ll favor 10pm-midnight this risk enters western Indiana, then after midnight those chances roll eastward.  Winds will increase with isolated damaging wind threat for western Indiana.  We favor showers and storms to be numerous Thursday.  It won’t rain all day, but expect a wet day in general.  Isolated strong to severe storm threat south of I-70.  We’ll see the showers moving out Friday morning.  Total rainfall in the end will be hit and miss with several spots receiving 0.50″ to 0.80″ – with other locations exceeding 1″.
