Enjoy a warm and mainly day Thursday and Friday.  An isolated storm is possible both afternoons, but our main storm chance develops Friday night.  It will be scattered, and especially focused in southern Minnesota.  Here is the forecast rain Friday night.  Isolated strong storms are possible.

This wave exits early Saturday, then we clear out for a beautiful weekend for most locations with cooler/drier air.  Southwest South Dakota is the area where we’ll have a chance to pick up a few storms this weekend.  The next best chance of rain will come Tuesday, with the Dakotas seeing isolated activity Monday.  Here is the forecast rainfall the next 7 days:
