Good morning!  There will be plenty of dry weather today despite more clouds than sun, with a few isolated showers.  Late tonight showers will arrive for locations along/south of I-70, and linger there much of the day Saturday.  Northern Illinois will be fortunate to see filtered sun and a dry day Saturday.  The entire state will see some sun and mild temperatures for Sunday.  Sunday will be phenomenal! We settle back into an active set-up next week.  Scattered rain/storm risks will increase over the northwest half of the state by Monday afternoon, then off and on risks throughout much of next week as yet another front stalls and meanders across the region.  Sound familiar?  Here’s total precipitation over the next week:
