Today’s Weather Overview:
- Conditions remain dry from this morning into ~3PM.
- From 3-4PM we will begin to see discrete storms popping up west of Trenton.
- From 3:30 – 5:30 PM there is the risk for strong storms including a few supercells. Large hail, strong winds and isolated tornadoes are possible with these. This will be the biggest tornado risk in the area today.
- The main line will progress into the area between 5-6PM with the strongest storms out by ~7:30-8PM.
- The risk for some backside rain showers will persist from 8PM – 10PM with scattered activity possible overnight.

Here’s a look at the simulated radar form 1PM tomorrow through 8AM Friday. As discussed in the video, we generally don’t expect these rain/storms to be severe but they could be heavy at times. Scattered storms could develop in the mid-afternoon hours with the main swath beginning to work in between 8-10 PM.
