Most of us likely see a dry day today, we did draw up an area we feel some energy can make it over top of the ridge of high pressure that’ll be expanding to our south throughout the day, where we think some isolated to scattered showers and storms may develop. The risks here will be mainly afternoon into the early evening for this development:
Total precipitation guidance is below for today…this model could be a touch underdone, we said where the showers/storms develop today ~0.2-0.5″ will be possible; the limiting factor will be the quick storm motion (in and out) and storms having a hard time lifting up in the atmosphere with the ridge in place:
Latest Euro guidance shows, like we mentioned in the video above, the potential for a possible storm cluster Sunday morning, followed by an unsettled weather day with most of us seeing the potential for on and off showers and thunderstorms:
