Moderate risk for excessive rainfall and flash flooding today into tomorrow is below, especially to the north and west as storms train over the top of the same regions for hours on end:

Total rainfall guidance in the short-term is below…because of the risks for also additional rounds of strong storms, areas around Kansas City to Columbia, Chillicothe to St. Joseph to Maryville we anticipate a base of ~1.5-3.0″…so localized higher amounts will be possible if not likely over 3.0-4.0″+:

Wind guidance over the next 4 days is below…gusty winds especially west today upwards of 30-35mph, weakening into the evening:

Total precipitation guidance into next Wednesday morning is below…we still feel areas from especially Joplin, Columbia, Kansas City, St. Joseph to Maryville, pose the risk for a base of 1.5-3.0″…with fairly numerous reports of 3.0-4.0″+ also noted because of the flash flooding threat continuing:
