Severe t’storm watch continues for counties in the pink shading up through 10am CDT as a line of strong winds and very heavy rain track east through mid-morning. We also have a flash flood watch for the counties in green, along with flash flood warnings in the southwest counties (red shaded area).
Excessive rainfall outlook targets the southeast counties for training storms and heavy rains to be a problem later this afternoon through the overnight.
Excessive rain outlook tomorrow once again targets the southern areas for an additional heavy rain threat, especially Saturday evening and night.
Severe storms are going to be a concern again later today through tonight for the southeast half of the state. All modes of severe including isolated tornadoes are threats.
