Weather alerts as of 4:30AM CT:

Watching the circled zone over the next several hours for a flash flood threat with repeated rounds of heavy storms into mid-morning.

Our southern counties will see a very unstable air mass develop again this afternoon with a boundary around.  Storms will be widely scattered, but will have the risk to drop localized heavy rain along with large hail, wind and a brief tornado.  Central and northern locations will be much more stable with no real forcing mechanism to produce storms, hence should be dry for the afternoon there.

Watch today’s video for an update through the weekend.
