Good Wednesday morning everyone! A quieter and hot pattern settles in today and persist throughout the week as an upper-level high pressure system stalls out on top of the Round Rock area. Winds will generally be out of the southeast which will bring in higher dew points leading to high heat index values as well as some fog chances for tomorrow and Friday morning. There is a small chance for thunderstorms today and tomorrow but Round Rock should be generally dry this week.
Here is a look at heat index values for today around 4 CDT. Note that regions just east of Round Rock have heat index values around 100.
