Most of the state will pose a risk for strong to severe storms today including tornadoes, damaging winds, isolated large hail and pockets of heavy rainfall:
Total precipitation guidance through today basically as this next line works its way east throughout the day…we feel our confidence lies in a range of ~0.75-1.5″ of additional rainfall along this line, a few areas topping 2″+ can’t be ruled out; areas further southeast look to be on the drier side of things, right now, as mentioned yesterday as well:
Additional precipitation risks basically Thursday into the weekend are below…we also mentioned that there’s a risk that this heavier precipitation shield can shift 2-3 counties south based on a couple of conflicting model solutions so check back often throughout the week on this:
