Video:

Dry and cooler for our Monday.  We have showers that will work into western areas after midnight, with showers most numerous over north-central areas Tuesday morning.  Showers will fade out during the afternoon, as we await for a cold front to arrive from the west.  This brings a line of severe storms into our western counties after 7pm.  Watch out from Quincy to Madison for the highest severe threat, with more numerous damaging the biggest threat there.  The storms “gradually” loose some of their punch as they work further east.  Highest severe threat in south-central and western locations.  Forecast radar from 7pm Tuesday to 6am Wednesday:

Total rain through Wednesday AM:

We’ll clear out Wednesday as warm and more humid air comes back.  A frontal boundary will bring more storm risks from northwest to southeast Wednesday night, and linger additional storm risks across the state Thursday.  Storm risks may focus further north/west Friday, then increase a bit this weekend especially central/northern/western areas.  We’ll have a continued southwest flow of warm/humid air into the state.
