Moderate risk for severe weather in portions of northeast Kansas, northwest Missouri, far southwest Iowa, and far southeast Nebraska. Storms will initially develop 1-3pm CDT across central Kansas. They initially develop as supercells, so this is where the highest tornado potential will be, with a few strong tornadoes possible. As the storms progress further north and east, they evolve into more of a thunderstorm complex, with a greater concern shifting to a widespread damaging wind threat.
