Check out the total rain over the past 24 hours.   The storms did hang on more than we expected last night, thus portions of southern Missouri saw locally heavy rainfall.  

This upper-level low will slowly migrate east across southern Missouri sparking additional scattered storms today.  A local heavy rain/flood threat where these form:
