Rainfall guidance over the next 2 days shows the majority of the activity will be focused across Missouri with ~30/40% scattered showers and storms today, basically fueled by daytime heating and dying off after sunset. They will be very hit and miss in nature generally 0.1-0.5″ with locally up to 1″ can’t be ruled out if a storm cluster materializes…many of us stay dry:
We discuss the rainfall risks in today’s video Saturday morning through Sunday from west to east mainly I-70 north across Missouri and especially into Iowa for shower and storm activity to increase. I did want to note we are watching SE Missouri mainly SE of I-44 for potential strong to severe storms Sunday afternoon into the evening given favorable moisture and energy in the atmosphere…need to watch this closely:
