Video: In today’s video I break things down regarding our weather and rain/storm timing through the weekend, as well as next week.
On Thursday, most of the day is hot, humid and dry. There is an isolated storm chance during the day, and any storm will have the risk to produce large hail and wind. Storm chances mainly come into play after 6pm, initiating in northern areas then growing and congealing into a segment of storms that drops southward during the night. Damaging wind, hail, and torrential rain the threats.
Total rain through Friday AM:
The boundary will linger Friday keeping storm risks for the northern half of the state.
Boundary lifts north for a time with most areas drier Friday evening-night, then scattered storms work back in Saturday. Storm risks continue into Sunday, exiting southwest to northeast during the day though. We’ll briefly dry out Sunday night and most of Monday, then another moisture-laden storm works in Monday night-Tuesday, and another Thursday. Very active! Rain next 8 days:
