Today’s Video:
Good Monday morning everyone! Most of the precipitation is either west or east of the New Orleans area to begin the day, however, cannot rule out the risk for some scattered rain and storms developing over the next few hours. These chances decrease especially after 1PM with data getting most activity out by the first pitch, however, we want to keep on eye on 11 AM – 1 PM based on some continued instability for the potential of some scattered rain/storms. Even with this risk we do believe there should be plenty of dry time to get the game in, but we’ll keep a close eye on this scattered shower and storm threat. Winds will also gust up to 25 MPH during the game at times from the southwest. Here’s a look at the simulated radar for today:
A few scattered rain showers can also not be ruled out late this afternoon and evening, but coverage should be relatively low. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out and have a great day!
