Here is a look at preferred high temperatures for today.
Here is a look at simulated radar from 7 AM this morning through 9 AM tomorrow morning. A cluster of storms will continue to push to the southeast this morning moving off into parts of Ohio. Today should begin to clear out as heat, moisture, and instability build in throughout the state. Another cluster of storms will once again be possible tonight. The primary risk include that of large hail and damaging winds. This cluster looks to form tonight across northern portions of the state before taking a SE dive through IN into the morning hours of tomorrow. There are still some slight differences in regards to to exact placement of storms and storm coverage this evening. A few models are a bit farther east than the model shown below. Here is a look at the latest Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center. Overall we agree with this area but will need to continue to update after lunch. Higher risk are to the east, less so to the west. Please watch video for complete details.
Here is a look at preferred rainfall amounts out through tomorrow morning. Around 0.2″ – 0.5″ will be possible with the se next round of storms. More details in the video.
Here is a look at the sustained winds around 4 PM today. Winds will be out of the SW around 10 – 25 MPH. Stronger wind gust under storms will be possible.
Here is a look at simulated radar from 3 PM tomorrow through 9 AM Thursday. Another round of storms will be possible through the overnight hours of tomorrow as well. Some severe weather may be possible with this round as well. More details in the video.
Quiet weather is expected behind this wave tomorrow night through the weekend. Watching a system that could move through later this weekend that could provide another shot of moisture across the state. We are still a few days out and will need to continue to fine tune going forward. The image below is a snapshot of the European model around 8 AM Sunday.
