Today’s Video:
Good Thursday morning everyone! We will deal with some mist/drizzle to start out the morning hours but conditions likely begin to relax as we work into the afternoon. Not expecting precipitation – less than a 10% chance of an isolated shower. There will be more clouds tomorrow, but as we work into the weekend we have an increased chance of showers and storms especially on Saturday. There is a slight risk for severe weather in place for Saturday mainly along and east of the Round Rock area. This is something we’ll watch carefully moving forward depending on the exact timing of the system. If the system speeds up a tad, severe chances will be less, if it slows down, there will be an increased shot of severe weather. We would lean towards the faster solution as of now but some strong storms are still possible especially Saturday.

Here’s a look at 5 day precipitation totals which mainly comes on Saturday and Sunday. Model average is generally around an inch and half which seems like a good bet by the end of the weekend.
