4-4-19 New Orleans Baby Cakes PM Update: Fine-tuning evening forecast details and timing exit of rain/storms. B.

Afternoon Video:

Good Thursday afternoon. Latest radar trends suggest that dry time is indeed possible for the game tonight as the cluster of storms that has dropped nearly 4″ of rain the first half of the day dives to the south and the leftover boundary tends to remain north of the area.

The latest European model for the weekend remains consistent with heavy rain and storms pushing into New Orleans in the early afternoon on Sunday right around game time and dropping very heavy rain. We will continue to monitor this setup the next few days but increasing likelihood of impacts for Sunday’s game.
