Here is today’s 7-day forecast:

Good Thursday morning everyone! As anticipated heavy storms are rolling through the area with downpours and frequent lightning. There will likely be at least a brief break as we work through the next hour or two, but latest data is supportive of another few waves of heavy rain/storms that likely develops as we push into the mid-day and early afternoon hours and continues into the evening hours. A few of these storms could be strong with hail and gusty winds the biggest threat. Between 2PM and 4PM will be the best shot for strong to severe storms. However, as we work past ~5/6 PM the main round of storms moves out. We will keep a scattered rain threat around and before game time but we generally expect the game to be dry and the game should be able to go on. Total rainfall by the time these storms move out could be as high as 2-3″.

A few scattered showers are possible tomorrow but the main focus will turn to Sunday where an area of low pressure and a front pushes into the area. This will spawn heavy rain and storms and it will be a race against the clock as this wave of rain and storms likely pushes through Sunday afternoon and could certainly impact especially the second half of the game with any speeding up of the system allowing an impact near game time. Here’s a look at the simulated radar from Friday afternoon to Monday morning:
