4-30-19 Indiana: Rain & storm risks continue on a scattered basis this week…details here. N.

Video:

Another day with plenty of dry hours despite rain chances, with an emphasis for western and northern locations.  This morning expecting thicker clouds with pockets of sprinkles/drizzle not out of the question, with scattered activity across northern Indiana today.  This evening, a few scattered storms will develop mainly over west-central Indiana, then lift north into northern Indiana tonight.  An isolated tornado cannot be ruled with with the storms west as the warm front lifts north along with locally heavy rain 6pm-midnight.

As scattered storm activity develops west this evening, along the warm front an isolated spin-up would be possible, mainly 7-11pm.

Total rainfall through the end of the week:  Most locations end up 0.75″ to 1.50″, but there will be pockets of higher totals with embedded thunderstorms.  Highest risk for heavier totals northwest.
