We have increased our precipitation chances for today based on some low-level energy skirting through the area this evening. Given ample moisture, we do believe some light rain and drizzle will likely develop in a scattered nature by around 5/6PM with better chances of more sustained light rain between 7PM and midnight with lingering drizzle into the early morning hours. Here’s the simulated radar between 1PM today and 8AM tomorrow.

Note, our best precipitation risks will come Saturday as a storm system works through the state and a front likely spawns more widespread showers and storms Saturday afternoon.
