As mentioned in the video today we think it’s not out of the question that late afternoon especially into the evening and overnight we need to watch for the threat for isolated strong to severe storms tonight in the red circled area below; the threat will include isolated risks for damaging winds, hail and can’t fully rule out an isolated tornado:

Total precipitation guidance over the next 2 days is below…starting after especially 3-5pm tonight from SW to NE we see a barrage of heavy rainfall consistently moving through the state, a bit further north than previous modeled guidance we’ve shown earlier this week, a bit heavier as well. We think other than far NW Ohio, most of us pose a solid risk of seeing 1.0-3.0″ of total rainfall here:
