Observed precipitation from the light showers overnight across the northwestern portions of the state:

Spotty showers develop from Cincy to Columbus and Cleveland this afternoon into early evening before diminishing to the south around sunset tonight. The better rainfall coverage will come late Wednesday night but especially on Thursday as a slow moving wave of precipitation works in southwest to northeast. Right now favoring Lima to Cleveland and points south for fairly widespread 0.5-1.0″:

As mentioned in the video, late April into early May looks to pick up in the above normal moisture category for us once again, so finding an extended period of more than 3-5 consecutive days of dry time will be hard to come by over the next 10 days or so. With that also being said, we are favoring a drier stretch of weather right now from May 3-8th with higher pressure and warmth overhead as well for those looking for a more consistent planting window:
