As mentioned in the video, our precipitation chances don’t start to increase more for our area widespread until Friday night west through early next week. The pattern, actually, is about to switch up for the northern Plains to much more active as the ridge of high pressure shifts more east into the Midwest, and allows much more moisture to flow into our area. Here’s our favored precipitation guidance over the next week below, highlighting the area we feel poses the better risk to seeing 0.5-1.0″, isolated higher amounts possible:
