Dry today! We’ll see the risk of a few showers across the southeast counties Wednesday, then a disturbance will bring a few showers mainly to the northern third of the state Thursday. In general, rain amounts stay under a quarter-inch. Friday looks dry. Plenty of opportunity to get fieldwork or anything outdoors done over the next several days. Total precipitation through Friday:
Targeting an active period heading into next week as a frontal zone develops just to our south, and rounds of showers and storms impact the state. This is why you will want to take advantage of the drier next few days!!
I think we have a shot to see 1-3″ rainfall over the next 10 days, with the majority happening next week. An average of 51 different ensembles has 1.5″-2″+ in the next 10 days….and that tends to smooth out the extreme solutions.
