What to expect this week:
The same system that brought much needed rains across Kansas is now moving across the lower Ohio Valley…spreading showers into portions of Missouri this morning. Most of the region remains in a gap of dry and sunny weather today, with our next disturbance to our northwest dropping in for Tuesday.
Through Wednesday afternoon, a general tenth to quarter inch of moisture across Nebraska and Kansas….some locations in northern Kansas into east-central Nebraska could pick up to a half-inch. Similar to the weekend, much of Iowa remains rain-free once again.

Weeks 1 and 2 precipitation forecast. Much drier than normal across the Belt for week 1. This combined with closer to normal temperatures will make for good working conditions in the fields.
