Observed total precipitation this weekend is below…we really did end up being a state divided in rainfall with the eastern half of the state picking up very little moisture:

Today will be a very nice warm and dry day…a weak cold front develops on our Tuesday afternoon into the evening, timing details are in the video but here’s our favored total precipitation guidance below:

Wednesday and Thursday for the most part are looking like additional dry days for most of us…with Thursday late afternoon into Friday morning a weak wave north and south look to push east (again, favoring most of us in the central parts of the state on the drier side right now). Friday we return back to drier and very nice as well as into Saturday, with another weak cold front developing on Sunday from northwest to southeast. The good news this week (right now) we are talking tenths of an inch and not in inches when talking total precip into next weekend:
