Good Friday morning everyone! This weekend will feature phenomenal weather with abundant sunshine and temperatures rising from the low 70s to the low 80s by Sunday. However, as we work into the middle of next week we expect a return of the active pattern with numerous rain chances especially on Wednesday.
The main story over the next few days will be wind. Winds could gust up to 35 MPH+ today with sustained winds from the NNW at 20-25 MPH at times.

As we work into next Tuesday, we will start to increase a scattered rain/storm threat, but it appears that Wednesday will be the primary target day for potentially heavy precipitation. Both the American and the European data agree on the heavy rain/storm threat as we work into especially Wednesday afternoon and the continue shower/storm risks into Thursday. As far as any severe weather threats with this, we’ll need to get closer to the event to analyze more high resolution data, but the system doesn’t look quite as favorable at this time for widespread severe weather.
