Good Thursday morning everyone! The line of rain and storms has pushed east of the area and drier air is taking hold. We will see sunshine today but as we work into the afternoon winds will quickly pick up. We could see wind gusts this afternoon and evening as high as 45 MPH with sustained winds of 15 – 20 MPH:
Breezy conditions will continue tomorrow but we’ll see calmer and clearer conditions with unseasonably cool temperatures into the weekend before we work back into the 80s for Easter Sunday.
Scattered showers and storms could arrive on Tuesday with Wednesday seeing a better chance for heavy precipitation. Differences remain in timing for rain next Wednesday with the GFS slower and impacting the evening hours while the Euro brings it through in the morning and mid-day. Regardless, this does look like a potential heavy rain threat for Round Rock:
