Normally we don’t issue another update shortly after recording a video, but I thought it needed as a few strong to severe storms have popped up across the western parts of the state, catching back up to the low-level jet stream (stronger than previously suggested in the video as we thought they’d die off quicker). We made a quick info graphic of the threat area continuing through ~8-10amET this morning below, before the line starts to weaken more across the eastern half of the state. The main risks will be gusty winds, iso small hail and cannot full rule out an isolated tornado. Stay safe and please don’t hesitate to reach out to the on-call service if you have questions! -Kirk
