Forecast radar through 8pm CT Friday shown below. Overall today looks good for most locations with sunshine around! A few flurries in northern North Dakota. A few snow showers are possible across the Dakotas overnight, then a burst of snow possible across portions of North Dakota Friday afternoon and evening.
Snow accumulations will be very minor…some spots over the Dakotas will get a coating to a half-inch, perhaps a very localized 1″ through tomorrow evening.
Another disturbance will work across the Dakotas Friday night through Saturday, bringing a few additional snow showers and a wintry mix across portions of South Dakota:
Sunday will bring lots of sunshine, and much of next week features dry weather. Here is a loop of temperatures from today through Sunday. Should see a bit of a warming trend through the weekend, but our snowpack keeps us colder than normal. We should see a more notable warm-up as we get deeper into next week.
