Good Thursday morning!
Should see a decent amount of sunshine today, but temperatures will remain very chilly. We will watch a disturbance tracking across southern Illinois Friday afternoon/night which may bring a few showers mixed with a few snow flakes. Not looking like a big deal. Showers will linger across far southern areas through Saturday morning, but otherwise we should be dry with more sun the further north/east you are. Perhaps a few additional rain showers in the south or west Sunday, but it does appear most of the state will stay dry.
Temperatures will moderate a bit over the coming days, with the warmest day coming Saturday. Generally staying below normal. Temperature loop from today through Sunday shown below:
Rather dry pattern ahead! Southern areas get clipped with showers this weekend, other-wise no precipitation until the end of next week/ following weekend.
