Main weather concern through the weekend will be the winds tomorrow. Very breezy conditions will develop, especially across northwestern IA. The image below shows the sustained winds around 4 PM tomorrow. Sustained winds of 25 + MPH out of the northwest will be possible.
Wind gust around 4 PM tomorrow may approach 50 MPH at times across NW IA. Advisories/ warnings may be necessary due to these breezy conditions tomorrow. Please watch video for complete details. Wind gust of 40 + MPH will be possible for the Des Moines area.
