3-4-20 500 Festival Education Program: Thursday’s trip looking breezy, slight shower chance after end of trip. B.

Good morning everyone! Overall, it looks like Thursday will be another nice day with breezy conditions. There’s a weak wave tomorrow evening that could bring some showers or sprinkles, but this looks to be a few hours after the program ends. Here is your latest hourly outlook:

Forecast Blurb:

Thursday will feature another chilly start to the morning though we are not anticipating any issues with fog with dry air and windy conditions. Winds will be the main issue throughout the day with increasing gusts of 25-30 MPH by the late morning and early afternoon. We cannot rule out some gusts up to 35 MPH at times in the afternoon. Temperatures should surge into the low-mid 50s prior to a front that will begin to work into the area in the evening hours. Along this front there could be some showers or sprinkles but the timing of this wave looks to be closer to 5:30 – 6PM.
