Here is a look at a 6 – Panel of simulated radar from 2 AM through 12 PM tomorrow. Snow begins to approach the Freeport area around 2 AM and will continue to push east in the morning hours of tomorrow. By around 9 AM, This snow will be largely east of the Rockford area. Temperatures (see below) during this time area expected to generally be at / above freezing. Pavement impacts should largely be avoided but cannot 100% rule out some isolated pavement impacts as temperatures drop to near 32 F and under heavier burst of snow. If treatment is down, not anticipating any issues.
Here is a look from 2 AM through 12 PM. Temperatures will be near the 32 F mark when the snow is falling and cannot rule out slick spots developing as the snow passes for the Freeport and Rockford areas.
Here is a look at preferred snowfall totals with this wave tomorrow morning. Most of this will be realized on grassy/ elevated surfaces with only potential minor pavements for the Freeport and Rockford areas. If any treatment is down, no issues are anticipated.
